Many condos offer access to swimming pools, fitness centers, and other on-site activities. Others may offer private beach access or views of the Gulf of Mexico. It's important to consider your lifestyle and what amenities you need to live comfortably.

Another important factor to consider is the size and layout of the condo. Condos come in a variety of sizes, from studios to multi-bedroom units. The layout of the condo can also vary, with some featuring an open floor plan and others having a more traditional layout. It's important to consider how much space you need, both for living and for entertaining guests.

Finally, it's important to consider the price and financing options available for the condo. Condos in Panama City Beach vary in price, depending on location, size, and amenities. South Lagoon

South Lagoon is located on the far East of The Beach in an unincorporated area.   South Lagoon was developed in the 1970s and benefits from a more planned road network and condos have larger lots.  Since the condo lots are bigger, more space between the road (Thomas Drive) and the beach, they can provide better parking and amenities.  Traffic is less of an issue since the road is four laned and there are no red lights along South Lagoon.  This area is also home to all the current marinas on the beach and plenty of famous restaurants.

East End

Panama City Beach End End is located East of HWY 79.  This area is highly developed with high rise condos lining the coast.  Since condo development took place along existing roads, the lots can be smaller, and you will find most newer condos have parking garages under the building or across the street.  Commercial shopping, bars, and restaurants are built up between the two main thoroughfares of Front Beach Road and HWY 98.  This is a high intensity tourist area and most, but not all,  of the condos are rented short term and are second homes or investments.  Virtually all of the condos here allow short term rentals.

West End

Panama City Beach West End is West of HWY 79 and East of Walton County Line at Lake Powell.  While this area is known more for it's sleepy nature and less densely populated, there are several condo complexes.  There are also more low rise developments in townhouse style units.  With close proximity to 30a and pier park this area is popular with tourists and residents alike.

Bay Front

Bay Front Condos can be found along St.Andrews Bay and Grand Lagoon.  With deep water access to the Gulf of Mexico as well as Shell Island, this is a boater's dream.  Most of the condos on the Bay will have docks.  Each condo is different, however the three main ways docks are handled are first come first serve, deeded, and assigned.  Depending where you are at there may be 10' of water or 1' of water.  The intercoastal waterway is located to the north.  While most of the development has taken place on the East side of Panama City Beach, there are new projects by St. Joe to develop West Bay as part of the Bay Walton Sector Plan.
